Road Safety Analysis for Accident Prone Stretch on NH103

Abstract Road accidents have presently become an major social worry in India which are increasing year by year. These road lead to loss of human life, injuries and property damage is very serious concern. As per the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG): 2030 relating transport infrastructure provision access safe, accessible, sustainable need hour. Therefore, safety becomes important issues today’s scenario. In this paper, analysis was done on NH-103 stretch identify accident/crash black spots. The accidental data collected from police stations visual surveys two lane 58 km. has been using ranking severity method, accident index (ASI) method density method. spots were indentified. It found that 6 crash identified namely BS-1, BS-2, BS-3, BS-4, BS-5, BS-6. reasons for these blackspots traced suggest counter measures reduction number stretch.
